Osaka Marathon 2026: Meet HOPE's Charity Runners
Thank you for supporting our Osaka Marathon runners!
This year, 15 runners will take on the marathon as Charity Runners. We are pleased to introduce our diverse team of runners from different nationalities and backgrounds.
Click on a runner you wish to support to visit their individual fundraising page. Some runners are joining for the second year in a row, while others are running for the very first time. Let’s cheer on these unique and inspiring runners together!
All donations raised will support HOPE's activities as follows:
- Providing safe water supply (construction of wells and simple water systems)
- Women's empowerment (support for small-scale businesses led by women)
- Awareness-raising activities in Japan (creating educational and project work videos)
In the 2025 Osaka Marathon, 23 Charity Runners participated and raised ￥2,510,000. In addition, HOPE received a further ￥1,940,000 from the Osaka Marathon Organizing Committee general funds.
