Hi! I'm Doug Hymas and am a long-term Tokyo resident.
I'm honored to run for HOPE in this year's Osaka Marathon. As a newbie to the HOPE community, I'm impressed with HOPE's clear mission and singular focus: To assist remote communities in rural Cambodia and Africa by developing local clean water projects—a critical first step in economic development toward eventual self-reliance.
The vision and dedication of the HOPE team is impressive, and their results stellar.
My goal is to raise at least $2,000 in sponsorships for HOPE's worthy cause. Please consider joining me or other runners in this effort. Whether $5, $50 or $500, your donation will do wonders to help a struggling community get closer to economic independence.
