Through the options below, you are welcome to designate your donation to a specific project or support the "where most needed" fund. If it suits you better, you may make your donation by furikomi or e-Banking. When selecting this payment method, you will be sent HOPE-JP's bank account details to remit your donation.

Designate Your Donation

When sending your donation, you can select from the following choices to designate where your donation will be allocated.
  • To Where Most Needed
    Your donation will support projects that are in the most urgent need of funding.
  • Clean Water
    Your donation will support families in Cambodia or Ethiopia  with clean water wells, latrines, and health education.
  • Micro-Credit
    Your donation will empower women in Cambodia, Ethiopia, or Nepal with training and micro-credit, so that they can develop a reliable source of income for themselves and their families.
  • Education
    Your donation will help construct durable and safe school buildings for children in Cambodia or enable indigenous youth in the Philippines to attend university.
  • Family farming
    Your donation will support the development of sustainable agricultural in Cambodia.
  • Special Campaigns
    This is to support specific campaign endeavors of HOPE supporters who have embarked on a challenge for the benefit of certain projects.
In addition, some project choices enable you to select the benefiting country as well. Of course, you always have the option of selecting "where most needed" and have HOPE direct your donation to the projects in most need.

The amount you enter will be processed as JP￥and that yen amount charged to your credit card.

For the American Express cards issued in the USA, in addition to the card number, expiry date, and security code, a 5-digit ZIP code is required.

This should be the ZIP code of the US address registered with the card, and NOT the Japanese address zip code.

Online error messages when making donations by credit card


If you encounter an error message when making a donation with your credit card on our website, it could be due to the following reasons:


  • Using credit cards that are not accepted
  • Only Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards can be used.
  • Security settings on your credit card
  • Your donation is either below 1,000 yen or above 1,000,000 yen
  • The donation figure includes a decimal point (Ex: 1500.50 *Donations are accepted in Japanese Yen)
  • You have reached your credit limit on your credit card
  • Your internet network is unstable

*If you would like to donate more than 1,000,000 Yen, or you prefer not to carry out the transaction online, you may use this Credit Card Payment Information Sheet and fax it to the number indicated.
