About HOPE

Our Mission Statement :

"Helping the neglected poor become self-reliant."
Self-Reliant
This is the ultimate goal – to ensure that those we assist reach a dignified position, where they are able to provide for themselves and realize their own solutions, sustainably climbing out of the cycle of poverty.

Become
We understands that for many that are not self-reliant, there is a journey required to get to there.

Poor
Our concern is with the poor who do not have access to fundamental resources to survive or break out of extreme poverty.

Neglected
We work with communities who have no other assistance available.

Helping
We help people reach self-reliance by facilitating access to fundamental needs such as clean water, means to live above 1 USD a day, and education.

Our Core Values

  • Self-Reliance
  • Compassion
  • Dignity
  • Integrity
  • Long Term Relationships

HOPE works with neglected, ultra-poor communities to improve health and livelihoods through water, education, and sustainable development projects. We work closely with our local partners on integrated community development that includes micro-finance, women's empowerment self-help groups, and sanitation and hygiene training. Our project outcomes result in local communities becoming self-reliant and self-sustaining.

HOPE’s projects are designed to provide effective, long-term assistance to some of the poorest people in the world. By focusing on the provision of clean water and sanitation, micro-credit, and education, HOPE works with communities to help them sustainably reach self-reliance.

History
