Support Grant in the 2026 Osaka Marathon as he runs for HOPE

HOPE Runner: Grant Black
Running for HOPE in the 2025 Osaka Marathon was one of the most rewarding and inspiring things I have ever participated in.
The support from the HOPE team was amazing. That was my first marathon ever; now at 57, I am lacing up a second time because it is never too late to be inspired and change lives.
Join me in the journey on this big challenge, all toward helping raise awareness and funds for the great work of HOPE.

HOPE's work is grounded in values that I respect and admire. I learned about HOPE from my IAFOR friend, Lowell Sheppard, who has inspired me to do this charity run to raise money for this effective and top-rated organisation.
Running this marathon feels like a massive challenge, but I am excited to be a part of the HOPE team and running to help a worthy cause.
The memories and good energy of running with my children gives me courage and motivation to keep going and run for HOPE!
