HOPE Runner: Grant Black

I did my first half-marathon this year, and so, honestly, I am a bit terrified to take on a full marathon! However, I am really excited to be a part of the HOPE team.

Join me in the journey on this big challenge, all toward helping raise awareness and funds for the great work of HOPE.

"Helping the Neglected Poor become self-reliant"

Values:
Self-reliance, Compassion, Dignity, Integrity, Long-term Relationships

HOPE's work is grounded in values that I respect and admire. I learned about HOPE from my IAFOR friend, Lowell Sheppard, who has inspired me to do this charity run to raise money for this effective and top-rated organisation.

Running this marathon feels like a massive challenge, but I am excited to be a part of the HOPE team and running to help a worthy cause.

The memories and good energy of running with my children gives me courage and motivation to keep going and run for HOPE!
