Year-end Message from Jeffrey Behr

Jeffrey Behr • December 22, 2021

As we reflect on all that has transpired in our lives during this past year we realize there are uncertainties beyond our control. This year again, coronavirus and its multiple variants have continued to plague us, yet we keep on going. Our hearts and minds are focused on our Mission: Helping the Neglected Poor Become Self-Reliant. We do this because despite the uncertainties we know that our society has a foundation of critical lifelines: the necessary utilities, healthcare, and social welfare to support us. However, those we serve do not, and we are able to share our blessings with those less fortunate than us. It is this caring and compassion that makes us human.

As I write this today, our friends in Ethiopia are faced with an outright war raging toward their capital and a country on the brink of collapse. Yet, HOPE continues to build water systems for access to clean and safe drinking water, while conducting sanitation and hygiene training, as well as women’s empowerment and income generation projects. With your generous support we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of disadvantaged people in Ethiopia, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

Please donate during this holiday season. You can be assured that your gift will make a significant difference to those in most need in Cambodia, Ethiopia, and the Philippines.
