I am running the Osaka Marathon with a simple sense of gratitude. After working my way back from an ACL injury, training for this race reminded me how fortunate I am to have access to the support, time, and care needed to recover. That perspective pushed me to look beyond myself and toward the communities where even the basics, like clean water, are still out of reach.
HOPE International is an organization I have trusted for many years because their work creates immediate and lasting change. Clean water is not just a resource; it is time, health, and opportunity. In many places, children walk long distances every day just to bring water home. When clean water is close by, those same hours return to childhood - to learning, playing, and simply growing up with a sense of possibility. I am running to help bring more of that possibility to families who deserve it and to support a future where every child has the simple dignity of clean water close to home.
