HOPE has been selected as an official charity partner of the Osaka Marathon 2027 to be held on Sunday, February 28, 2027.
Once again, we are looking for charity runners who will support HOPE's work by taking on the challenge of running the full marathon.

How to Apply as a Charity Runner (For Japan Residents)
To participate as a charity runner, registration on both Syncable and RUNNET is required.
1. Register as a HOPE Charity Runner on Syncable
Please register as a HOPE Charity Runner through HOPE's page on Syncable.
Once your registration is complete, you'll receive an email with your Charity Page ID and the URL for the dedicated RUNNET registration page for charity runners.
2. Complete Your Entry on RUNNET
Access the dedicated RUNNET registration page using the URL provided in the email you receive after registering on Syncable. Enter your Charity Page ID and complete your registration details.
Please note: The charity runner registration page is not available through the general RUNNET website. Please use the dedicated URL provided in the email you receive after registering on Syncable.
Fundraising Goal for 2027
Our fundraising goal for 2027 is ¥2,000,000.
Your donations will support HOPE's work beginning with access to clean water and expanding to education, agricultural development, women's empowerment, and other initiatives that help people become self-reliant.
More than

What Is a Charity Runner?
A charity runner is someone who supports a cause they care about by running in the Osaka Marathon while raising awareness and donations for their chosen charity.
HOPE will support you throughout your fundraising journey by helping you create your fundraising page and sharing fundraising tips.
Even if this is your first charity run, we'll be with you every step of the way.

Running the Osaka Marathon is more than completing a race - it is an opportunity to make a lasting difference.
Eligibility and Entry Requirements
- Anyone prepared to run a full marathon (finishing is not mandatory)
- Must raise the minimum donation amount of ¥70,000 (If the target is not reached, the remaining amount must be covered by the runner.)
- Must pay the marathon entry fee (¥16,000) and the required charity donation (at least two units of ¥500) at the time of entry.
Note: This charity donation is required for both general and charity runners.

For Overseas Residents
The registration process for overseas charity runners has changed.
Overseas participants must register through JTB Sports Station, where the marathon entry fee, required charity donation, and fundraising donation are paid together in a single transaction.
