Fundraising Goal for 2026
This year, our fundraising target is ¥5,000,000.
With this amount, we can build 8 wells in rural Cambodia, providing safe water to approximately 360 people.
Please note that donations will also support women's empowerment and awareness-raising activities in Japan, in addition to water-related projects.
When we construct a well, it’s not just about digging a hole. Your fundraising helps deliver comprehensive, lasting change. Each project includes not only a well but also a latrine, a home garden, transportation of materials, and local labor. We call this integrated community development. It works and it lasts.
Past Results
Note: These numbers are based on a well costing approximately ¥700,000 and benefiting around 50 people (8–10 families).
What Is a Charity Runner?
Being a charity runner is about more than just running. It's about making a difference. At the Osaka Marathon, you choose a charity to support and run for a cause you believe in.
To participate, runners must raise at least ¥70,000 by gathering donations from friends, family, and supporters who resonate with the charity’s mission.
We'll provide monthly coaching calls and tips to help you succeed in your fundraising journey.
In addition, each runner is invited to submit a personal message for their profile on HOPE's website to share why they are running and what this challenge means to them.
Don't worry if it's your first charity run. HOPE will support you every step of the way, from setting up your fundraising page to sharing tips on how to spread the word.
Let's take on this challenge together!
