While the Coronavirus is rampant around the world, self-restraint is spreading in Japan and there is concern about economic stagnation. Many people are feeling uneasy these days due to the virus.

We can wash our hands with clean tap water to prevent illness and get medical care if we get sick. However, in Cambodia where HOPE works there are still people who don't have clean water to wash their hands. They suffer from poverty, don’t have water to properly wash their hands, or go to hospital. HOPE shouldn't be stagnant just because the world is hard. If we don't take action now, their situation which still needs water, will worsen.

What We Can Do Now

The news features people reaching out to help, sending relief supplies and donating masks.
Why not take action to help those in need now? Many are waiting for your help in Cambodia.
Each of us can do a little, but if we come together, we can be a big help!

I spent one hour every day fetching water from the river. The smell was terrible and worse when the water decreased in the dry season. But by having a well installed by HOPE, we are always happy now with water! I was worried that our children had to go far way to fetch water, but now we are safe because there is a well in front of the house.
